When I first came to Thailand, I was, probably like any other European, a bit skeptical about the respect people give to His Majesty the King. But when I saw His Majesty on TV, explaining on the Map how to solve the problem of the flooding in Bangkok. At this point I realized, this King is a true King of his people, who brings knowledge and wisdom as well as help to his country. From this point I got a lot of inspiration through the actions of His Majesty and I really admire him as a person.
His Majesty is a truly democratic King. One can see his respect for the elected government and that His Majesty always stays out of politics. But if he sees that something goes terribly wrong, he always tries very hard to make the people understand about their mistakes they have made. To me he is like a mentor of this country and I love and respect him, that he never misuses his power, but gently puts it where it is needed. It is an art, that when you have power, to use your power in the right way and put it into the right direction. Therefore I think His Majesty is a great example to everyone in the world. And therefore I adore him the most.
I believe the Thai Monarchy is a great pillar for the people and the country. As the Thai Monarchy provide wisdom and leadership in a very special way and guides the country very wisely. And I respect both His Majesties, the King and the Queen, both are really there for their people, no matter at what cost or at what risk. I think Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand is doing a fantastic and amazing work down in the south. I saw her on TV sitting their with the people all day long to discuss matters with the people - that is the true spirit!
Hence I choose to live in Thailand. I love the LOVE CARE RESPECT way how Thai people treat each other and how the small details are so important. I love it that when you go and visit someone, the first question always is "Did you eat already?" and when you come home they ask "Where have you been?". I think its this love and care as if you would be a part of this family, that makes Thai people the masters in taking care of others. I think its gracious. You know the saying - "if you give a smile, you will receive a smile" - its great. And the King is the greatest in the way how he treats his people.
As a leader, he is a perfect manager. He says things to people not to pull them down but to encourage and motivate them. He really relates to his people and really cares for them. I love that he takes the problems of normal people such as me truly serious and I love that the really goes to them and talks about it. And almost every time he finds a way how to solve that problem. That is why I believe he is very close to his people.
I mean on His Majesty's Birthday, I was really crying when I saw him in person. And I could see how Thai people really love him and how much care and love His Majesty gives to them. I also was surprised to see that the whole country was in yellow for his birthday, in respect to His Majesty the King of Thailand. I loved it. And for me its an honor to have the chance of living in Thailand.
When I go to see a movie, I am so happy to stand up - I love it. Great! You know, I am happy and really think about that. To go to the cinema and everyone stands up to honor his Majesty the King! This often is the best part of the whole movie!
I really would like to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for your warm love and care for us, the people. I think its tremendous...I respect...So many things come to my heart, that make me realize how gracious His Majesty truly is. I love him from all my heart. I see his work, and there is no other monarchy in the whole world that is so dedicated to his people like His Majesty. He is really working hard for his people, he gives so much love to his people, His Majesty deserves all the respect and love he gets in return.
He is really dedicated from the bottom of his heart.
He does everything and even more than any other. He is truly unbelievable. |
